The Best Local Peak District Beer You'll Want At Your Wedding

Beer! Who doesn’t want an ice-cold delicious local brew after they’ve said I do? We’ve listed the best breweries in the Peaks, you’ll want to toast to these fantastic local suppliers at your Hargate wedding.

Local Peak District Breweries

Long walks, rainy days, and big hills might be what you expect to find in the Peak District, but did you know you’ll also find multiple breweries, some award-winning? Here in Derbyshire, we like a country pub and nice beer, so why not bring these local tipples to your wedding reception? Here’s our rundown:

Peak Ales

Based in Bakewell, Peak Ales is a real ales craft brewery based in the Derbyshire Dales, UK. Run by Robert and Debra Evans and their team. With a great variety of ales, you’ll find the perfect one for your wedding. They’ve even started making their own gin!

Eyam Brewery

What about a beer from the plague village? We can’t help but think Eyam Brewery is very ‘en vogue’ at the moment and adding a few bottles from this brewery behind your bar might make your guest smile.

Thornbridge Brewery

Thornbridge Brewery is one of the leaders in the UK Craft Beer scene, creating an award-winning range of beers, including the legendary Jaipur IPA. A classic Peak District brewer, you’ll try a pint and be back for more!

Bradfield Brewery

Bradfield Brewery is a family-run brewery based on a busy working farm in the Peak District, within the picturesque village of Bradfield. They make their beer using the finest malts, traditional hops, and natural spring water from their own borehole!

We’ve got great contacts with these breweries, so if you’d like to serve these pints are your wedding, we can help you get in touch with the right people. Drinks are an important part of your day and it’s important to stock up. There is nothing worse than drinking the bar dry and still wanting more. You know your friends and family, plan appropriately and make sure you’ve got enough booze!

Cheers to you!
