Part of the fun of the Peak Forest Beer Festival are the day time activities and competitions. There are plenty of things for all ages, with craft shows and sports competitions for the children and several challenges for the parents as well. There are running races, sack races, tug of war and 3 legged races. There is always some sort of throwing competition and of course the wheelbarrow race is always entertaining.
There is also a Dads Extreme Ironing competition. Those of you who know me will know that this is one competition that I have to enter! Needless to say I am coming up with a suitable hair-brained plan for this. Do you want to see the pictures? …Well sorry you will just have to wait until Monday. After all it is a competition and I don’t give the others any ideas!

What a shame, we’re not going to be able to make it this year.
